Our 5 Year Warranty

Grout and epoxy work is covered for 5 years. Silicone is covered for 24 months. If a covered area fails, we repair or replace it at no cost.

What's Covered, What's Not

Covered

  • Waterproof failures caused by defects in our workmanship or materials
  • All grout and epoxy we install, for 5 years
  • All silicone we install, for 24 months
  • Every tiled area treated during your service
  • Repair or replacement of the affected areas, with labour and materials at no cost
  • An inspection of the area when you report a problem, so you know exactly what's going on
  • Cover that starts automatically the day your job is completed, nothing to register

Not Covered

  • Mould, staining or colour changes (a cleaning and maintenance issue)
  • Pre-existing structural, membrane or plumbing problems
  • Areas we didn't treat during your service
  • Damage from harsh chemicals, neglect or improper cleaning
  • Building movement or third-party modifications

Elite Grout provides restoration and sealing services only. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of grout, epoxy or silicone installed by our technicians. We are not responsible for water damage to subfloors, ceilings, cabinetry, electrical systems or other property, and property owners remain responsible for monitoring underlying structural and plumbing issues.

After Care Instructions

To get the best results and maximise the lifespan of your newly restored grout and silicone, follow the simple care instructions below.

Allow Proper Curing Time

  • Do not use the shower or wet the area for at least 24 hours
  • Avoid splashing water on newly sealed areas
  • Ensure adequate ventilation during the curing period
This allows the grout and silicone to fully set and achieve maximum strength.

Regular Cleaning

  • Use mild bathroom cleaners or pH-neutral cleaners
  • Use a soft brush or sponge
  • Rinse with clean water after cleaning
Regular cleaning helps prevent the buildup of soap scum, dirt and mould.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals

  • No bleach-based cleaners
  • No acidic cleaners
  • No abrasive scrubbing pads
  • No high-pressure cleaning
These products can damage grout and silicone over time.

Prevent Mould Growth

  • Keep bathrooms well ventilated and use exhaust fans
  • Dry wet areas after use when possible
  • Clean surfaces regularly
Mould growth is a maintenance issue and is not covered under warranty.

Avoid Impact Damage

Avoid dropping heavy objects onto tiled areas or grout lines as this can cause cracking or damage.

Monitor Your Tiled Areas

If you notice anything unusual, like cracking grout or seal movement, contact us so we can inspect the area. Early attention helps prevent larger problems.

When does my warranty start?+

Your warranty starts on the day the job is completed. Your shower is ready to use 24 hours after we finish.

What if the leak comes back?+

If a leak comes back because our grout, epoxy or silicone has failed to hold its waterproof seal, that's exactly what the warranty is for: we repair or replace the affected areas at no cost. Leaks caused by pre-existing structural issues, failed membranes or plumbing sit outside the warranty.
